Some times you might not have the resistor with the needed resistance in your tool box. Don't panic! You can replace the resistor with two resistors in series or parallel. The intention of this applet is to calculate the varius combinations and to print a list of the ones with the given maximum difference.
This download is intended for people who want to install this program local on their computer.
(To start under Linux type "java -jar ResistanceCompositor.jar". To start under Windows double click on the jar file. Needs Java 1.5 or newer.)
